I Want To Be Me

I Want To Be Me

I want to be me

I want to be the real me

I want to be in a relationship where I can be me

And I’m not talking about that fake me

Not that got it all together because I know if I don’t I’ll be judged me

I want to be the real me

The me that rides down the street by myself bumping Nicki Minaj as I get it

I want to be able to be emotional and not have to hide it

I want to be able to be the me in front of him that nobody else will ever see

The me that I am when nobody is around to judge me

I want to be able to show him the uncut Joy

The diva style, ghetto girl, straight thug life Joy

I want him to know that I can quote more than scriptures, I can spit bars

Bars so tight that when they hit him he loses sight… seeing stars

Stars….

Me….

Because he will understand that I am the star

The super star of our world, no limitations, I’m going far

I want him to look past my shy girl exterior and see my inner beast

Killing niggas with my words as I mentally devour them… deceased

I want him to resurrect the life in me that some never knew existed

Understanding that I’m one of kind, a limited addition, such a rarity in me that only a fool would resist it

I want to be the me that sing loudly off key

And then instead of making fun of me, he joins me

I don’t think I’m asking for much, I just want to be me

I want to be in a relationship where I can be me

And I’m not talking about that fake me

Not that got it all together because I know if I don’t I’ll be judged me

I just want to be the real me!!!
