I thought I had it all figured out

I thought I knew 

how to stop the walls

from falling in again. 

But they fell 

and I'm begging of you please 

to come save me again.

Because I needed you all along

and I never realized

until the rain turned to snow

and the days turned to dusk. 

and everyone left again. 

I feel it everyday when I wake 

and the sun doesn't shine. 

I can't tell you why

I can't give it away
