I survived inside

The savior was never the love from another but the heart of a mother.
Maybe even a father, sister, and brother and from this a tiny temple had seeded and grew.
Watered by the raindrops from those tiny pebbles that we once threw.
It’s the little pieces that are left inside that dared to reach for the stars in the sky.
I agree by seeking from inside, each and every one of us can cross the new divide.
Although some of us will hide, at least I can say that most of us will surely try.
The experience of this wake is one in which I would lovingly partake.
For this is something new and I intend to trust my heart and see it through.
I have dared to travel down some roads, that consisted of the mind, body, and soul.
Having been lost in each and everyone until I could not be pulled out by anyone.
Until along came the moon and her beauty pierced me through.
So I tucked her light deep inside so at least a part of me could survive.
Never knowing how long I must hide until my soul could once again spring to life.
