I lived in Green One Summer Evening
Rakish reflections pass from an
Aging streetlight to grace your cheek;
The soft touch of that fragile golden glow
Compliments the green looking back at me
The smell of smoke is fast asleep
So we hush our voices: Silent
And like our voices, so does the world fade
Until everything melts deep into green
And all I can understand is
This emotion trying to run
She will not stop rushing around my chest!
She loves you (r) deep green: Her necessity
