When I was born,

I was born as myself.

A unique little girl,

Unlike anyone else.

 

I was one of a kind,

Someone very special.

I was in charge of my life,

The queen of my own world.

 

No labels to tag me,

Just a clean slate of my own.

To others, I was labeled as something,

But in my heart, I was just me.

 

Sometimes I felt insecure,

Unsure of who I was.

But I looked in the mirror,

And saw that I was still myself.

 

I will always be brave,

And never feel lost.

I am who I am;

I am myself.
