I Am Music

United States

All I am is my music

All my music is who I am

I don't write it to get famous

I write it because I can

When I was to afraid to say it

It is everything that I've felt

It reminds me of the good and bad

It's the notches in my belt

To whom it may pertain

They are the stories left untold

I hope they'll remain relevant

When I wither into old

If you take away my music

You'd take more than just my soul

You'd take my heart and imgination

Leaving only skin and bones

It is the foot print to my person

For music cannot die

And though I am not Immortal

It is music that keeps me alive
