Hoping for change

Fri, 08/26/2016 - 12:00 -- nkuscan

Imitation is suicide

Why walk when you can fly

What wakes me up early to greet the day

Is turning on the news and hoping to see a change

But all I see is children in chains

And sand covered in brains

Justice is run by the majority

Equality is led by the minority

Build a wall so we can tear it down

Never in my life have I seen a king lose the crown

It was a life short lived

But a life worth living

Blood like scarlet skies

Imitation is suicide

This poem is about:
Me
My country
Our world
