HOME

Home is where the heart is.
It‘s where I hang my hat.
The comfort of my Dad’s chair
Is usually where I sat.

On cold days, it kept me safe and warm.
Rainy days, it kept me dry.
Winter came, and summer gone.
Friends and family dropped by.

Now that I am growing up,
And my college days are here,
When I think of my early years,
My troubles disappear.

Home is where your heart is.
It’s where I hang my hat.
The comfort of my Dad’s chair
Is usually where I sat.
