Here Without You

Location

She runs down empty roads

“Where did everybody go?”

Everything’s black and white

“Why am I alone?”

Noone understand her anyway

Slowing down her pace she glimpses at her past

Blissful afternoons spent running hand in hand

Colors shine so vividly

Relived but now it’s over

“Why can’t I just keep that?”

Regret sets in

Further and further she walks

Deeper and deeper in thought

All of a sudden she’s not alone

She’s hand in hand with Him

He lead her down that colorless road

Breathing life as they stroll by

Colors, Feelings, Smells, and Touch

Renewed

She turns to her right

“I don’t deserve this”

Looking her straight in her grateful face he mutters “I gave up EVERYTHING just so you’d have this chance” (Romans 8:31-32)

Gripping her right hand firmer he said “Don’t be afraid, from now on everything you go through will have to go through me first” (Isaiah 41:13).

Guess what..

She lived happily ever after.
