Heartwaves

Location

He rushed over me,

His touch cold at first,

But so warm after.

He'd pull in,

Away,

And I exulted in his rhythm.

When I wasn't submerged in him,

Completely absorbed in his presence,

I felt danger,

The cold touch of isolation blowing at me,

So I went deeper into him.

He'd push me away,

Then reel me in,

And I found myself farther away from my past One,

And closer,

Deeper,

Into him.

He beckoned me,

I followed.

He pushed,

I chased.

He'd lift me up and spin me,

And I laughed,

Oh

I laughed

While tasting him,

Breathing him in,

Closing my eyes

And seeing his in my mind.

Blue.

Green.

Expansive.

The jabs that came,

I didn't care.

I felt my breath escape me

Hearing the roaring of his soul,

Feeling the pounding of his heart.

"Don't let me go,"

I whispered,

Sinking in his love.
