He came when I died

He came to me when I died

Took my shoulders, careful calm and slow 

and lifted me up in to the air.

We floated high over trees and buildings till I couldn't see the ground.

I'm panicking but his eyes never leave mine.

Soft, big and an impossible green. 

They're the wind and the sky and the sea.

The sight calms me down 

and then I feel like maybe I'll be ok.
