He and I had something beautiful,
But so dysfunctional it couldn’t last
I tell myself all the words he surely meant to say,
It must have been love but it’s over now.
I'm missing you already and I can still see your face.
I just want to go away with you.

You turned out to be the best thing I never had,
Something always brings me back to you.
And sooner or later it's over,
I just don't want to miss you tonight.
I said I’m sorry dear,
But you don’t listen.

Sometimes what we think we love we don't.
I cannot find the heart I gave to you.
I will try to fix you,
But trying to make a difference makes it worse,
No hope, no love, no glory,
No Happy Ending.
