The gridiron sport

Im ready, i was born ready,
to suit up with armor, my helmet heavy,
i look up to the crowds they shout and scream,
as we approach the field, or the battle ring,
we fight as if to amuse you as if we were in a Colloseum,
football is the sport of warriors, our strength at premium.
one cant understand a players heart,
unless they strapped on pads to start,
for it is not for others we play, but for glory and humble praise
