Grass Lover

Air so fresh it hurts deep inside

With every green blade I must at last confide

I love to smell freshly cut and manicured lawns

It’s to this exotic aroma I’m inexplicitly drawn

Mowing the lawn is something I love to do

Especially after the leaves have fallen and summer is through

Didn’t you know trimming and hedging is now all the rage

There is nothing we can’t do in this day and age

So if your grass is up and your leaves are down

Call me quickly as possible don’t fool around

No one loves to landscape or play with the grass more

To me this activity isn’t even a chore
