Goth Girl

Sun, 08/02/2015 - 21:08 -- Emily H

No sir, I'm not color blind.

I know my clothes are all black.

I don't like wearing color for a matter of fact.

It's like being in a cage with a tiger,

which I wouldn't be comfortable with.

No sir, I don’t worship the devil.

I wear a pentagram around my neck ,

but I worship Mother Earth

and I don't believe in a red guy with horns and a pitchfork.

You think I have some kind of mental illness

and need to see a doctor

because according to you something’s wrong with me.

In your mind,

black equals depressed.

You think I’m less of a woman

because I won’t take your shit.

Y’all think if I listen to the crap on radio,

dressed up like the girls on the magazine covers,

and act like how you want me to act

then I’ll be happy.

But goth is me

and you can remove my heart from me

without killing me.

I like to speak my mind.
Now fuck you if that offended you.
