We're growing up, but not much
Our knowledge had just been hatched
Wisdom of a neophyte
Still lots of matches to ignite

We're growing up, but not yet
It's hard to be intricate
Inept to the things still to unfold
Must still follow the rules we were told

We're growing up, but that's a lie
We're immature and do not yet qualify
Living still with our imagination
Theories learned yet needs demonstration

We're growing up, we must
Can't let innocence last
It must be cruel and ill to acquire participation
But this is the exigency for our personal foundation.
