I love music, and nature, and flowers, and such
I love helping some students with homework and stuff
But what I love most of all is security of truth
Because I'm sick of these loans and I'm countin' on you

I'd take thousands and thousands just to make my ends meet
I'll read books by the day and take tests by the week
I live in a trailer and drive a 2002 Focus
And I only got accepted 'cause of hard work and the government

I did frats, the marching band, and volunteered too
I've had job after job after job like you too
I'm not perfect but who is? I can just try my best
But I know damn well I deserve this for what I've done yet

I served four years and you know that I got a Bachelor's
But I'm not done yet cause you know I want a Master's
I got the Bachelor's in psychology, the masters will be counseling
So I could talk to kids in school and motivate the same story.
