fruit from the cacao tree

listen. what you eat. tropical. exotic. inamorata. same dirt to dig. same tree to hang. season to season, harvest comes and goes. pick the ripe fruit from the fields after it grows. sun-dried then fermented and heated from within. dark & lovely. milky & sweet. spice it can even bring. famous hue seeds from that fruit. fruit from the cacao tree. that’s my root.
