Friend of Loneliness

I’m waiting currently in an abyss

of boredom, homework, and loneliness

One friend or two I wouldn’t mind

but I have none . . . that’s just not life

Looking back it’s not that big, but then again

I had nothing

Not one true friend to call my own, not one true friendship of my own

It’s what I yearn, one true kind friend

to help pass time in this abyss of

no more boredom, still some homework,

rather life full of companionship
