Float Me Away

Float me away on a cloud
I am not very proud
Sit back and smile
All the while
I am not happy
I look at who my family is
And think who am I
Gaze out the window
But nobody will know
What I long and wait for
To swim in that sunset
And dive into the horizon
Dance between the stars
And bounce on the moon
I've never been able to escape
But now I will at my own pace
Sweep me away into the wind
To flow with all the flowers and pollen
Wash me away in the rain
So it can clear away all my pain
So that I can rise into the atmosphere clean and sure
And float far far away
