First Kiss

You give me butterflies in my stomach,

Sometimes there's so many I feel I need to vomit.

You smell like a childhood memory,

I'm not sure which one- it all gets so blurry.

Sometimes you act like my dad,

Which gets me pretty mad,

but right now I'm just sad.

We kissed, it was awkward,

Don't talk about it, move forward.

This dance routine we have is falling apart,

It starts to become too much and then we restart.

I bet we end up back in bed,

Where things are left unsaid,

and right now your lips look so red.
