FIre

Don’t let people burn you,

for you are already a gracious fire.

Don’t let people use you,

for you have so much value.

They’ll come to you for warmth,

love, daringly shelter.

Let them love you,

but never use you.

Be the fire that everyone comes to,

be the savior to their broken light.

In love with your touch,

Unharmed by your flame.
