It's always there, yet hiding.
It's scared to let you in.
You search and you can't find it.
Live life; it'll find you then.

The darkness may conceal it.
In light, it makes all bright.
It moves as fast as lightening,
So quick that you lose sight.

But the happiness it comes to all.
It comes and fades away.
You think you've finally found it,
And it disappears one day.

Watch, so you don't miss it,
And turn your lights up high.
Don't look. Just let it find you,
For happiness is shy.
