Fear Will Not Break Me

Tue, 03/19/2019 - 19:52 -- Lilliah

At any given moment, I just might break

Fall to my knees, head in my hands kind of just might break

Fear in my eyes, regret on my mind kind of just might break

Why am I alive, how did I survive kind of just might break

The cracks of my body stare back at me and scream

You aren't done yet, and you never will be

We do not exist as reminders of some pointless tragedy

So get up, quit shaking, fight for the life you want to lead

Put one foot in front of the other and get that degree

Remember how hard you worked every night to achieve

This different path from where every sign pointed you to be

So pick yourself up and wear that fear on your sleeve
