Fear of being myself.

Fear of being someone else.

Fear of rejection.

Fear of my brother and his harsh words that harden my heart.

Fear of those who cannot open their minds.

Fear of conformity.

Fear of losing myself to the darkness that everyone says is the light.

Fear of the loud unintelligible screaming that fuels my waking thoughts.

Fear of the soft dark silence that haunts my slumber.

Fear of losing myself to a place I cannot return to.

Fear of finding myself in a place I swore I’d never go.

Fear of people.

Fear of small towns.

Fear of big cities.

Fear of people.
