Fallin' Out

I keep leaning in, the more I lean I feel as if I'm tipping over,
I feel the weight coming down on my  bruised shoulder,
Most familiar with the brush off approach leaving me hanging for a while,
I'm not a toy lacking emotion and sense of worth,
I'm holding on with all my might so that I can at least say I tried,
I would prefer not to waste my time if yours is being invested in someone else,
Whoever she may be, good for her, I can go and do my own thing,
Far from bitter, just think I deserve more,
I'm yearning for love and affection not to be any man's side chick,
You are not a man if you reeled me in  to break me down,
Too late I'm starting to break this chain of me repeatedly falling out.
