Essence of Adolescence

Location

I was the kid on the curb

never thought my words would be heard.

See I've been in a trap house since the age of 6

my uncle started sellin in 86'

my cousin started pimpin in 99'

I was gonna see the pin in a matter of time,

then I found a pen,

wrote some rhymes to begin

then wrote my life in the end.

Now the same curb that I stood

is the same curb that I'll bend.

All I need is the education

then we'll see how the story ends.
