Enough with Not Enough

What would I change?

What would, ahem, I change?

Gee, I dunno.

I think…

I’d change…

the voice inside of a teenage girl’s head

you’re not smart enough

you’re not nice enough

you’re not popular enough

you’re not pretty enough

you’re not pretty enough

I want to exterminate

annihilate

obliterate

every thought that creeps and sneaks

every thought that drives her mad

that drives girls like me mad.

No one deserves the pain,

no one deserves the misery of not enough.

If I could change every sick thought,

every sad thought,

I would.

If I could hand every girl a golden mirror to see all the good,

I would.

Enough with not enough.

You are enough.

I am enough.

We are more than enough.
