Drowning In Society

All of us wait

for the day

when Society

will accept our plea.

We hide

and we fight

but they never

change their mind.

Our hopes and our dreams

are killed at first light.

Some of us beg

to be released instead.

But they want to warp us

and change us.

Finally, we break

we give up our stake.

We change our minds

and begin to live blind.

Doing to others what they

have done to us all.

Here we are

so close but so far.

Drowning in Society

because we don't want to cause anxiety.
