The Door

Goes the door

Latching its

Latch through

The floor

The pitching

So cruel

To my ears

After all

These years

The door

Still leers

Running from

The door

Won’t leave my brain

Reminded of the

With such pain

So steady on its

Hinges is

The door

Laughing its laugh

Through the floor.
