Don't judge me because I'm a jock

Doesn't mean I'm dumb or one of the flock

Of guys who live and die by the clock

Who don't care about grades and c hoose to mock. 

There's more to being part of the team

Not just seeing how many people you cream

Playing lacrosse in college is my dream 

Leading me to coaching, athletic trainer it seems

My grades, community service, and sports get me more

To open that magical college door

But sports have taught me beyond the score

That teamwork, faith and family are at my core
