Don't Break Trust

Thu, 02/12/2015 - 18:14 -- Khirsty

It is malicious. It is a place you go when you find revenge, vengeance, and reprisal,

Delicious.

It is a place where you feel trapped while you’re in it;

And where the memory, when you’re out, consists of black images—

Where these black images are often only interjected

By visions of painful past occurrences, often remembered with a hateful red tint around the edges.

And how in the world could a heartbreak cause this kind of pain?

Well, in fact, that idea is out of this world, this pain comes from more than a heartbreak.

A heartbreak can be mended,

With time, love, and care.

But betrayal of trust inevitably endures an extended period of despair.

Because trust is very fragile. It takes a long time and much effort to make

But can it can so easily be shattered

And it’s so hard to recreate.
