By my side you...you were suppposed to stay.
You abandoned me in my time of need.
Just love me, hold me, wipe my tears away.
You betrayed me, your daughter. Your own seed.
Why didn't you protect me? Why weren't you
there? Why didn't you comfort your baby?
Why couldn't you love her and love me too?
Now you won't see me become a lady.
I can still feel your hands around my neck.
Daddy...what happened to you? Where'd you go?
Your fatherly role you've seemed to neglect.
That is exactly why I hit the road.
Yet...you're still my father. You gave me birth/
Again we will find happiness and mirth.
