Dancing Light

I saw her dance yesterday. To a doo wop style song sung by a child like her. She jumped and stomped and did her best impression of a ballerina. Watching her twirl and smile at me I could feel myself begin to be less aware of that which was constantly with me. The overbearing cloud of nihilistic despair that seems to get worse by the year. She made it seem to disappear. This is the magic of my daughter. My light against the darkness.
