Dance

Upon a mid-summer afternoon

The curtains find release

Dancing with the wind

Fluttering with the breeze

Silent

Rippling

Flying

No restraint

No questions

Just a simple parting

Opening the way

For the little wind sprites

Carrying the burden

Of the season’s last breath

As it comes to a peaceful end
