Curious Cat

I was a Curious Cat born in a flock of sheep

Appearing to the world, an apparition

They cut claws, and shaved down paws

To sheild as hooves

Overgrowing my fur, bleaching it wool white

Made to follow, as they echo their chants

I do not make a sound

My silence, my protection

My protection, my imprisonment

of my own affliction.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
Our world
