The night flies past me
Mocking my sanity
I scream silently
Pleading to the moon

My cries fall upon deaf ears
I am again left to my self
Who is this with me
A person I do not know

My eyes ache for darkness
Yet my brain ignores
My muscles yell for rest
Still they are ignored

I nod slowly
The darkness creeps inside
My head fills with night air
I finally sleep
