A Child's Divorce

All my life I fit right in

But you took perfection and dropped a pin

Your sudden clatter changed my fate

I was Heaven bound but at Satan’s gate

Judging glares shook my core

All because you wanted more

I say I’m fine, but my heart is sore

Because each judgement isn’t mine, it’s yours

How do I tell you?

How do you know?

That my pain results from not reaping your sow

Over and over I continue to say

“I love you, but I’m not okay”
