Change Flows

Change flows as the rivers.

Water rises, rushes, ebbs, and slows,

Bestowed by the Giver.

Submerge – frigid – into shivers.

Swirling chaos with melting snows,

Change flows as the rivers.

Tears fall and lower lip quivers.

Rain augments the silent rose,

Bestowed by the Giver.

Brown to green, the spring delivers,

Death and decay with the tide goes.

Change flows as the rivers.

Gently lapping, silver slivers.

The moonlight floats and flows,

Bestowed by the Giver.

Dry beds where water sivers,

To be filled again – no one knows.

Change flows as the rivers

Bestowed by the Giver.
