Cascade Of Kindness

(I wrote this for My daughter Khadija on her birthday)

Never an act of kindness
Even if pint-sized
Insignificant- to be not done
So not the least bit
Hold youself back
To share a single penny in need
Merely buck up a friend to succeed
Or just lend a helping hand
Nothing but listen and understand
To those in distress
And ease their stress
To hold and to raise
Tightly embrace
A soul in fear
Wipe anyone's tear
Utter a few words to comfort
For those deeply hurt
Or simply pass a loving smile
To a fellow being passing by
Always bear in mind
That being a little kind
Like a blessed drizzle
Instigates with a trickle
Forms a stream, develops into a cascade
Your minor kind gesture, will never fade!
