Broken flower

Here is your flower, you only get one

You’ll come to see its precious by the time I am done

It is something many will try to take, but your grip you cannot break

You May sometimes want to give it away, but you mustn’t be temptations prey

...Soon you will see its worth

For it’s the most valuable thing you’ll have on earth

I know one day you WILL stumble

That is the day that flower will crumple

by now you should know you and the flower are intermixed

a bond that once broken can never be fixed

Its petals whisked away out of sight

The day you decided to no longer fight
