Money for college is a broke boy’s dream

I only have money for things I need

I’m not writing this for a good college fling

But for my education and that’s what I’m going to achieve

I have goals id really like to meet

I’m hoping for a 4 year degree

I’m hoping to hear the birds sing

I’m hoping to chase my dreams

I’m hoping you see what I mean

But with hope lies defeat

And that will not be me

My hope will let me proceed
