Breaking a Sweat

I am confused and loosing focus

The stress of daily life engulfs

I look out the massive clear window to my left

I see a couple jogging side by side, laughing

That is when idea strikes!

I run to the garage- that holds my favorite object in the world

My shiny bicycle is calling my name

The snap of the helemt's buckle makes me smile

The faster I pedal, the quicker the pavemnt moves below me

As the cool wind hits my face, all my senses are intensified

I feel alive
