Boom! Crash! Snap! We Can't Protect the Fallen.

Boom! Crash! Snap.

"We can't protect the fallen.

We can't relieve the screeching

Even if we try."

Trembling and weak

Their hands

Grasping my feet

Begging, Pleading

And... I simply turn my cheek.

Boom! Crash! Snap.

"We can't protect the fallen.

We can't relieve the screeching

Even if we try-"

Even as I walk

With each stride there's a scream

No number as a distance

Can save you or me

Boom! Crash! Snap.

"We can't protect the fallen.

We can't relieve the screeching

Even if we try-"

With each step the noise grows louder

With each step the distance grows

I tremble in my footsteps

With each step the guilt has grown

Boom! Crash! Snap.

"We can't protect the fallen.

We can't relieve the screeching

Even if we try-"

And when I finally arrive

I still hear the cries

The ever present cries

The cries that are behind

Boom! Crash! Snap.

"We can't protect the fallen.

We can't relieve the screeching

Even if we try-"

And even if I tried

To stop and turn around

There's silence in the cries

A silence in the crime

Boom! Crash! Snap.

"We can't protect the fallen.

We can't relieve the screeching

Even if we try-"

There's something about the silence

The tension in the air.

There's something about the silence

That keeps me staring there

Boom! Crash! Snap.

"We can't protect the fallen.

We can't relieve the screeching

So even if we try-"

Boom! Crash! Snap.

"We can protect the fallen.

We can relieve the screeching

Even you can try."
