Blinded

Seeking

Searching

My eyes relish the world around me

Once you have seen you cannot unsee

This sight that was given to me

To see the physical wonders

To create expressive manifestations

To warn me off hidden dangers

To recognize the symbols that rule this world

And the sight to seek truth

Beyond our eyes

Though my spectacles betray me

I fear my decline of vision

I weep

For the blind

Who do not see

For those with eyes

That do not wish to see

Those that choose to be blind

They do not know

Sight is a gift

That I cannont live without
