Because I love you, I don't really love you

Because I love you, I'm not going to let you go out Friday night; it's for your own safety.

Because I love you, I'm going to go through your phone; to make sure nobody is trying to steal you from me.

Because I love you, I'm going to give you a playful punch; to show I can kid around.

Because I love you, I'm going to call you 'stupid' and 'idiot'; because it's jokingly and cute.

Because I love you, I'm not really going to love you.

I'm going to control you and say it's because I'm protective.

I'm going to scold you and say it's because what you did was wrong.

I'm going to threaten you and say it's because I don't feel comfortable.

I'm going to turn into a diomestic violence abuser, and say everything I do is out of love.

You won't leave me; I know you.

You're too scared at this point; nobody will believe you.

Your word against mine; nobody will trust your words over me.

You have nobody now; I made sure of that.

You aren't you anymore.

I say I love you, but I don't. Love doesn't hurt. Love doesn't abuse. Love doesn't control.

I don't love you.
