Beauty
The sun falls across your face
Casting your eyes to the gold of Summer's last days
Somehow, by God's good grace
I knew you for a while and will remember you always
You toss your head to laugh
Flashing a joyous, dimpled smile that I sadly echo
We both walk a different path
If only the past could be remade; I miss you so
Sculpted lips form a sidelong grin
Lean fingers through dark hair; such delicate hands
Appear to some weak and feminine
But to me you are the most handsome and beautiful man
Beauty! Such a strange word
To use in praise of men may seem to some mad
But any other would be absurd
You captivate me completely, you out of this myriad
