To Be Heard

Location

The cruel silence lingers in the air
Just watching with a malicious smile
Watching the poor broken girl sobbing

Such a small and delicate thing
Shivering and sobbing
Crystaline tears coating her thick lashes
But there is no sound

Like someone had pressed the mute button
A horror movie on mute as a man stalked towards the girl
And this silence was broken with a scream

Porcelain skin stained with crimson liquid
Wails of agony desperately trying to be heard

What happened that night?
No one knows for certain
Because that girl is gone
But she is not dead

Only she knows the truth
Insane laughter filled a padded cell room
Fools, the lot of them
A malicious grin covered her face

They will never know what truly happened on that fateful day
