Another Student

I pass through the halIs clamouring tick-tock

Get to class, keep looking down at the floor

I see face after face no suprise here

We see people but do we see a story

The blond cheer captain whispers faux stories

to the toilet after lunch and dinner

The jock who looks at the beat up kid in

 the mirror at home, "Sorry Dad.

The nerd, always studying his classes

"You need at least a B to eat dinner"

Late to class once more and you still can't see them

Get to class, keep looking up, save yourself.
