Am I Pretty Now

Tue, 04/10/2018 - 16:29 -- B.S

Am I pretty now?

You told me I need makeup,

You can hardly tell it is me anymore,

Am I pretty now?

You said I needed to lose some weight,

Well i have, now I'm anorexic,

Am I pretty now?

I got some new clothes, more "in style",

But this is not my style at all,

Am I pretty now?

I'm no longer a brunette

I bleached my hair everyone is doing it,

Am I pretty now?

Have I reached your unachievable expectations,

I traded my character,

For nail polish and jewelry,

I traded my personality,

For popularity,

I gave up my health,

So I could fit into a size 2,

I traded my happiness to please you,

I am not the same girl I was a few months ago,

But I do want my question answered,

Am I pretty now?
